The CCIR came up with a consumer survey on travel insurance to which results were posted in 2016. Further to the survey, recommendations were made by the CCIR on Travel Insurance Reforms that were posted on May 31, 2017. The goal is to enhance consumer protection and increase confidence in travel health insurance products.
